They announced the fee as 8 dollars! Twitter has stopped selling blue ticks

After Elon Musk's purchase, the paid blue tick event on Twitter ended before it started. While Twitter determined the blue tick fee as $ 8 last week, there was a new development on the subject today. The social media giant has stopped paid verifications due to users abusing the service to impersonate brands and individuals.

The blue tick application of Elon Musk, who reacted with the decisions he took on Twitter, which he bought for 44 billion dollars, did not turn out as he expected. It has been learned that Twitter has stopped its blue subscription service for $ 7.99 per month due to some users abusing it to impersonate brands and celebrities.

REGISTER OPTION REMOVED

Twitter launched the service on the iPhone app earlier this week. Users were previously allowed to purchase a checkmark to show that an account was verified or official. Since Friday the iPhone app does not show the option to sign up.

FAKE ACCOUNTS INCREASED WITH BLUE TICKET

The fact that the service was active for only a few days showed that Elon Musk's grand plan to generate new revenue from users was not working as expected. The paid subscription service has caused a large number of people to create fake accounts on Twitter and more misinformation circulating on the social media platform.

PAID BLUE CONFIRMATION LOST FROM ACCOUNTS

This has paved the way for a big problem for advertisers who have already stopped spending on the platform. On the other hand, some users who have already paid for the service say that the paid blue checkmarks have disappeared from their accounts.
